Conference in Aachen, Germany

The researchers working on the CO2-SPICER project participated in the Petroleum Systems Technology Days 2022 conference, which took place Aug. 30th – Sep. 1st in Aachen, Germany. Project coordinator Juraj Franců presented the oral section „Basin modelling of a pilot CO2- storage in a dolomite reservoir Bohemian Massif, Czech Republic“, which involved co-authors from other project partners (MND, NORCE) in addition to the CGS. Cooperation with leading experts from Schlumberger Ltd. and Terranta GmbH was established during this event. The main aim was to cooperate on modelling of the chemical and physical changes of reservoir and cover rocks after the CO2 injection.
