North Moravia welcomed the last Working Meeting of the CO2-SPICER Project

The meeting agenda was focused on the status of individual work packages implementation, with emphasis on the degree of elaboration of the planned project results, especially those to be published in peer-reviewed journals. The project meeting was complemented by workshops focused on dynamic modelling of the storage site and geochemical interactions of fluids in the repository and its vicinity. At the end of the meeting, the participants got acquainted with the laboratories of the VŠB-TUO, where the geomechanical properties of the rocks from the drill cores used for the project were measured. The project is entering its final phase with completion scheduled for next spring.
